Welcome!

I am a professor of astrophysics at Princeton University.

I study massive black holes and the galaxies that they live in. I use big and small telescopes across the electro-magnetic spectrum. I am part of the ELVES, Merian, MASSIVE, and PFS Surveys.

I also teach algebra in NJ state prisons through the Prison Teaching Initiative.

In my spare time I run marathons and learn about beads.
